1) What is Ximmy?
Ximmy is a search engine powered by Google and Yahoo based on the idea that every link has a story. Ximmy
is a community driven social netoworking site that allow users to read and submit stories to any link on the internet.

2) Why should I use Ximmy as my search engine?
When you use Ximmy, all your search results are IDENTICAL to Google or Yahoo because our backend
is powered by them. The key advantage in using Ximmy is that to next each search result link, you'll be able to
read other people's stories about the link. This will provide you an extra layer of knowledge before you visit the link.



Writing stories on Ximmy:

1) How do I share my story on Ximmy?
First you need to find a link that you want to review. You can do this by doing a search from our home page.
Once you find URL you want review, just click the "Submit review" link to the right hand side.

2) What kinds of stories can I share?
You can share anything you're passionate about.
- Products/companies you've used in the past
- Sevices providers
- Favoriate Websites
- Local Companies (restaurants, shops, etc)
- People (Friends, celeberties)

3) Do you accept all stories?
We accept stories on anything. However, all submission goes through our Quality Assurance department.
Our QA department will make sure the story meets our standard before it is made live to the site. You

4) What are the common reason why you would not accept a story?
- Story does not share your personal experience
- Story was not very specific
- Story contains too much grammar errors
- Story contains more description than your opinion
- Story was not related to the link
- Story link can not be an affiliate link
- Story can not be of a forum post
- Site must be in english

5) Can I write a review on any links?
Yes, anything!

6) What do I get for sharing my stories?
Currently, we offer users 10 points for every story that is published on Ximmy.com. You can redeem the
points for cash:

New, Videos, Pictures:

1) How is the site structured?
Ximmy is structured into 4 main tabs.
News - Submit a News link from anywhere on the Internet that you like to share with other users.
Videos - Share and discuss your favorite Videos with other users.
Pictures- Share and discuss your favorite Pictures with other users.
Web - From here, you can search and write a review on the search engine results.

2) What is "Popular" and "Upcoming" in the News, Videos, and Picture tabs?
Popular is when a story is voted for by enough users, it will be published and promoted to the front page.
Upcoming are new submission that are submitted by users.

3) How many story can I submit?
There is a 8 limit submission per day.

4) How many votes can I cast?
You can vote up to 20 submissions per day. So, please only vote on submission that really interest you.

5) How many comments/reviews can I make per day?
50 per day.

6) How do I find content that a specific user submitted?
View the user profile, then click on the "history" tab. There you can find all the user's activity on Ximmy.
